Handpainted with natural colours by Silpinwita Das, an acclaimed Kalamkari artist from West Bengal. You are buying a "one of a kind" painting to wrap the body, a unique work inspired by natural forms and textures, the work of a master under the label HARIDRA .
Silpinwita draws with traditional pen and brush directly onto handloomed fine cotton prepared with a base colour of Myrobalan. Further natural colours made from Madder, Indigo, Catechu outlined by Iron and Lampblack build up the design.
No two are the same; every brushstoke and mark is sure and strong to be adding to the bold individuality of each piece.
